Yahoo Internet Life was a joint effort between the folks at Yahoo and Ziff-Davis Publishing-- an early (1995) portal site that attempted to make sense of the rapidly growing 'Net. From a design point of view, it was the begining of "How can we cram 100 billion items into 3 square inches of screen space?" Offering reviews and ratings of other websites in numerous consumer-oriented categories. it was designed to complement the editor's off-the-wall sense of humor!
