When it comes to the web, Chris Knight keeps the back end covered. Programmer, Engineer. Sysadmin, he can walk into any new environment and be functional and helpful right away. When your site needs to work hard— and keep working hard, no matter how critical the application— his talents are right here at Fisher & Day.

Need to build a shopping site? No problem. Need to port your legacy databases to your intranet? No problem. Need help wrastlin' Linux to the ground or building and deploying new servers? Need a "security audit"? Great code and the best solutions are on their way... just call us.

Chris first sat down in front of a computer at age 13. Since then, clients and employers have bestowed more and more prestigious job titles upon him from "Systems Engineer" to "Court Wizard" to "Freakboy Hacker"— finally culminating in the coveted "Ubër Geek" (this last was uttered by someone who knows). At Fisher & Day, we just call him 'Chris'.

Chris is just as comfortable in a walnut-panelled Fortune 50 boardroom as at a tiny start-up's kitchen table. The reason? He speaks a Universal Business Language called "Solutions." But even though Chris knows technology from Apache to Unix you won't end up with an inappropriate or over-engineered site. He's adamant that the simplest way is often the most effective, and that's how we all think at Fisher & Day. That's one of the reasons we've been working together since they invented the World Wide Web.
